Hosting Your Website and Domain
Web Express does not include hosting of your website. Our decision to not include hosting is meant to reduce the cost of the packages and allow flexibility of choice for our clients.
Our packages are designed to be hosted within Media Temple's Grid server. Media Temple is the premiere hosting provider serving such clients as Starbuck's, Sony, and many media companies. The Grid Server hosting package from Media Temple comes with many features including email, 24/7 support, and low cost. If you decide to use Media Temple for your hosting we will integrate the Web Express Core onto your Grid server for free. Those whom wish to use a different hosting provider may incur charges for integration. We strongly recommend using Media Temple.
Your Domain Name
Your Domain Name, if available, can be purchased from companies such as Godaddy.com for a reasonable annual rate. From within your Godaddy.com account center, only the Nameservers for the Domain need to be changed to point to the hosting company's servers, in our case, Media Temple. Everything else can be taken care of within the hosting company's administrative center.
