Frequently Asked Questions

Slipcase Media is located in beautiful Hawaii on the island of Maui.

  2. Why does Slipcase Media have to authorize my Account Center?

Slipcase Media requires authorization for each request for an account center for a few select reasons.  First of all, for security purposes we have limited our account center access to those parties that are most likely too benefit from our offerings.  Secondly, our Account Center is a hub of communication that opens many valuable avenues of discussion to authorized users.  This communication could exceed our capacity of people if left unchecked and therefore we must remain on alert.

  3. How do I get started with Slipcase Media?

You can get started with us by signing up for a Test Account.  You will also need to decide on a Domain Name for your website and register it, and purchase a hosting account to store and serve all your content to your visitors.  We prefer Media Temple's Grid-Service for hosting, and we often use GoDaddy.com, but any Domain Name Registrar will do.

You can come up with a layout and design on your own if you like, or you can browse though the massive library of open source web-design templates at sites like OSWD.org or purchase templates from any number of design houses by searching with the terms "Web Templates" in Google.com.

  5. Will Slipcase Media design my website?

When you buy a Web Express Package, Slipcase Media will incorporate your chosen XHTML compliant design and logo into the system at no charge.  Any additional design-work will require a consultation and incur charges at our hourly rate.
